I have this blog for so long but haven't written any materials on it.. but here I am.. after like what? 4 years? tsk!
Nothing much really, just need some help to determine something. This thing has bugged me over the months, since I started my new job and yet, it's always my heart speaks rather than my brain. Perhaps, the true assessment lays on your transparent judgement. It's about a boss... if 'the boss' read it, hope 'the boss' can assess 'the boss's-self'...
Good Versus Bad Boss:-
Tolong ye kawan-kawan. Jawab dengan jujur, in your opinions, which one should be the good boss or the bad ones :-
1. Shares authority or mistrusts
2. Takes responsibilities or blames
3. Indecisive or decisive
4. Pemarah or kelakar
5. Great listener or blank wall
6. Doubter or encourager
7. Courages or intimidating
8. Shows empathy or self-centered
9. or.. is it a good or bad boss who would judge a worker, tentang credibility dia or komitmen dia berdasarkan pada waktu dia balik kerja? Perhaps, waktu kerja dia dari jam 9 - 5, then dia balik sharp jam 5 atau jam 6, u think dia tu tak komited atau tak bertanggungjawab? Would you rather think that those yang kerja sampai jam 9 atau 10 malam lebih baik? without thinking the productivity that might slow down after the long working hours? and coming back tomorrow morning feeling all worn out?
10. or, is it a good or bad boss who get the help from everyone in the department and claim the victory in 'the boss's' name only?
11. or, is it a good or bad boss who act on favourtism instead of the 'real-situation-scenario'?
Lastly, will it make me a good or bad boss, if I shoulder the blame on behalf of my subordinates rather than blame them?
